It is a little late in the year but if you haven’t purchased your 2010 calendar than purchase this one. Called ‘Behind the Velvet Curtain’ the calendar is a collection of images of Brisbane based performance artists. The calendar can be purchased from Avid Books (West End), The Shire Teahouse (W.E.), Good Concepts (W.E.), Bounce: Hair, Body, Beauty (Highgate Hill), The Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Art (Fortitude Valley), Gold Coast Arts Centre, and the Wooloongabba Antique Centre.
The calendar was made in aid of ThKianh Foundation in Hoi An, Vietnam after some of the members visited the orphanage fo disabled and disadvantaged children.

This is probably is not what I would have picked for the next step for Coco Channel. I can see it now, Rex the cattle dog up front, Baza in a wife beater, stubbies and pluggers with a slab of VB going fishing in his Channel dingy. Some of the snow gear looks nice, as well as the paint jobs on the surf boards, I wonder how they would perform?

Ok for those of you who are traveling to Japan. Forget having the freshest sushi, you need to try Mc Donald’s 4 new limited edition specific to Japan burgers.
There is The Texas burger, The New York burger, The California burger and The Hawaii burger. I want to see these on Iron Chef and have the judges review them.
