Ellaspede

Monday, February 1st, 2010

For those of you who don’t know, Steve and I have decided to design a series of custom motorcycles under the name ‘Ellaspede’. We embarked on this journey about 10 months ago and are now agonizingly close, yet so far from being finished. We have not gone on this adventure alone, along the way we have met and collaborated with some great professionals. Slice N Dice Kustoms has breathed sheet metal life into our hand carved foam tank models. Dan from Slice N Dice is a true sheet metal artisan.

Ruby and Karl

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

Co-lab between Les Ateliers Ruby and Karl Lagerfeld. Checkout more images at Yatzer. Don’t know how the anti- fur campaigners are going to react to this one? Doesn’t look like Johnny has too much of a problem with it. I wonder if Brad will don one when he’s riding his Zero.

Derringer is the brain child or Adrian Van Anz’s who has set out to recreate the cycle commuters of the 1920’s. Nice classy way of getting round.

Via lifelounge here is a set photographs by self taught American photographer and film maker Danny Lyons. Lyons dedicated 4 years of his life to the Chicago Outlaws motorcycle club in order to capture their way of life. He is also notable in his role of documenting the Civil Right Movement, releasing the book The Movement in 1963.

Heuer and Triumph Anniversary

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

Great to see even after his death the late great Steve Mcqueen can still make stuff cool. Tag Heuer and Triumph teamed up to produce a one of a kind Le Mans coloured Bonneville, to celebrate Heuer’s 40th and Triumph’s 50th anniversary. Check out more via swipelife.
