Alright, this is the last new Heluva site for a while. Since discovering the wonders of Word Press (cheers Tom) we have been fascinated with the speed and ease of creating a new look site. We would just like to thank Perry for designing such a great site. This blog, www.heluva.com.au/blog is now going to be replaced with www.heluva.com.au. In another 75 years they will release the triangular version… Monopoly has revamped for a 75th year anniversary. It has also shed the money by replacing it with an EFTPOS looking thing. I don’t know if that is good or bad. Sure it’s with the times but that was the cool thing about Monopoly, you could play it by torch/candle light in a black out. Now you’ll have to take the batteries out of the torch cause the last time you played you forgot to turn off the unit. I could be wrong though, Hasbro could have designed it to run on a cool little generator system.
When I was in Japan a few years ago I could not get over the shear amount ‘Zen’ styled mobiles. They were all so clean, refined and sleek. Unfortunately being on a totally different satellite mobile phone system they can’t be used in Australia. Let’s admire them instead, Ichiro Iwasaki for iida
