Heluva is an in-house Industrial Design company founded in 2008 by Steve Barry and Leo Yip. Common interests in retro futuristic styling, modern technology and the built environment sparked a friendship while at university. After some years in separate professional roles the friendship evolved into a working relationship.
Heluva develop products where it sees an application for redesign or when necessity beckons. Heluva draws inspiration from design history, visual futurists and nature. Where appropriate, Heluva designs dodge convention, seek innovation and embrace new technology whilst maintaining maximum design functionality.
Heluva believes in the active pursuit of personal interests, leisure and life outside of work. New experiences, situations and ‘time to view the world’ help form and fuel innovation and invention.
Heluva plans for world domination, though are currently content with the one they are creating.
